"Well it had to happen, but after EIGHT WEEKS of furious voting my poll to decide the ULTIMATE 80s SINGLE has come to an end and the results are all on the website right now... you may remember that the final round saw A-HA's 'Take On Me' up against ADAM AND THE ANTS' 'Stand & Deliver' and the support for both acts was phenomenal, in fact five times as many votes were polled for this round than for round one and the winner won by a margin of just 0.2%!

In honour of the poll Ant-fan CARTY produced a special mash-up mix which combined both the final songs and you can hear his fine work on the POLL RESULTS page of the website, an excellent way to bring the poll to a close. Many thanks to everyone who voted!

There's also a brand new EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW online this week with SOFT CELL's DAVE BALL who talks about the new 2-CD album of contemporary Soft Cell remixes 'Heat: The Remixes' and the deluxe 2-CD edition of the duo's classic 'Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret' album, both of which are released this week, as well as the possibilities of a Soft Cell reunion, eating pizza with Kraftwerk and gold lamé tousers! Please visit the website if you fancy a read!"
