ABC, HOWARD JONES and TOYAH will tour together in the UK through October, November and December.

THE B-52's will play a rare UK show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on June 29th.

THOMAS DOLBY
has announced an eight-week US tour starting in April, with more dates in the pipeline. The influential artist has said that he is slowly working on new material but has no specific plans for a new album at this point.

BONNIE TYLER will play two New York shows as guest vocalist with JIM STEINMAN's band The Dream Engine at Joe's Pub on March 24th and 25th.

ROXY MUSIC
, currently reunited and working on their first studio album for over twenty years, are planning a remix album which will be released in advance of their new record and will feature a selection of remixers, DJs and producers' versions of songs from the Roxy Music / Bryan Ferry catalogue.

THE STRANGLERS will play their first ever acoustic show at the forthcoming Great British Acoustic Festival which will run on July 29 and 30 in Nantwich, Cheshire. Other acts on the bill include THE ALARM's MIKE PETERS and former ICICLE WORKS singer IAN MCNABB.

SCRITTI POLITTI will play a Dutch show at Amsterdam's Paradiso on March 30th.

THE PROCLAIMERS
have recorded the theme for the new Irish BBC TV comedy 'Dry Your Eyes'.

PET SHOP BOYS
are to stage a free concert for 14,000 people at Tyneside's Swan Hunter shipyard on May 1st where they will perform their soundtrack for the classic silent film 'Battleship Potemkin' as accompaniment to a screening of the film.

BELINDA CARLISLE will release a retrospective collection 'The Ultimate Collection' in July in advance of a new solo album which is tentatively scheduled for late Autumn. 'The Ultimate Collection' will feature all Belinda Carlisle's solo hits as well as tracks recorded by THE GO-GO's and will feature previously unreleased mixes. Initial quantities of the release will featurea bonus CD of remixes.

ABC frontman MARTIN FRY is recording songs for a forthcoming Hugh Grant movie.
