MORRISSEY has announced a Christmas tour in addition to his previously announced two-night stand at Manchester's G-Mex in December. The tour currently consists of seven arena shows which start on December 2nd. See GIGS for all the dates.

PET SHOP BOYS are to be the subject of an exhibition at London's National Portrait Gallery from October 30th. The band's artwork and visual collaborations will feature in the exhibit which will also be captured in a photobook entitled 'Pet Shop Boys: Catalogue'.

WHAM! are rumoured to be reforming for a one-off Christmas concert at London's Wembley Arena. The show which will reunite GEORGE MICHAEL with ANDREW RIDGELEY is also said to be featuring PEPSI AND SHIRLEY as backup singers.

JIMMY SOMERVILLE and ERASURE's ANDY BELL will both appear at a forthcoming benefit concert for charity organisation The Food Chain. The show will feature a night of unusual duets and will also feature contributions from Heather Small, Julian Clary, Denise Van-Outen, and Fran Healy and will take place at London's Mermaid Theatre on December 2nd.

BELINDA CARLISLE will release a new album, 'Voila!', in February. The album is a contemporary take on classic French songs and includes contributions from BRIAN ENO and HOTHOUSE FLOWERS.

PAUL YOUNG will release a new album, 'Rock Swings 2 - On The Wild Side Of Swing' a collection of swing versions of rock classics, on October 24th. The album will initially be released in Germany only but further international release dates are expected to be announced for next year.

MICHAEL JACKSON is to be the subject of a new boxset, 'Visionary - The Video Singles', which is scheduled for a November 14th release. The collection rounds up 20 of Jackson's best-known singles, each on its own DualDisc, with the video for each track on the DVD side. The singles have already been released individually in the UK where most of them achieved top twenty positions last year. See NEWS on the website for the full boxset tracklisting.

CROWDED HOUSE are to release an album of their last ever live concert which took place in 1996. The 'Farewell To The World' release will be released in January and will be available on both CD and DVD. See NEWS on the website for the full tracklisting.

MADNESS have announced a second show in London as part of their forthcoming traditional Christmas tour. The band will play the show at the Brixton Academy in December. See GIGS for all the dates.

SHEENA EASTON's recent expanded reissue of 'The Lover In Me' and LA TOYA JACKSON's recent reissue of her eponymous album, 'Le Toya Jackson', have been added to the REVIEWS section.
