BANANARAMA's new Christmas song, 'Baby it's Christmas', will be released as a digital EP shortly, but is already available on the new US Christmas compilation 'Super Dance Christmas Party Vol.3'.

THE SPECIALS have announced European dates for September, October and November next year. The shows will take place in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium and the UK and tickets go onsale in early December. See GIGS for all the dates.

DURAN DURAN have confirmed the tracklisting for their new album, 'All You Need Is Now' as well as announcing a European download EP 'From Mediterranea With Love' to be released after the album. The band will release 'All You Need Is Now' as a single on December 14th, a nine-track downloadable album on December 21st and a twelve-track CD edition in February. ERASURE have recorded a new version of their classic hit 'A Little Respect' which will be released for charity as a download single, with a new video, in December.

MISSING PERSONS' DALE BOZZIO's previously unreleased 1991 album 'Make Love Not War' has finally been released for the first time via iTunes. The release includes 'Take Me To Your Leader', co-written with PRINCE, plus five demo and session recordings.

PHIL HARDING is reissuing his PWL memoir 'PWL From The Factory Floor' in a special expanded edition this week. The new volume runs to over 600 pages and includes interviews about working with key PWL artists, commentaries on many classic PWL remixes and much more. The book is available from Amazon in the UK.

MARIAH CAREY and ANNIE LENNOX are among the performers expected to appear at 'Christmas in Washington', a special Christmas concert for TNT hosted in Washington DC by Barack and Michelle Obama.
