DAVID BOWIE has been in talks with shock-rocker Marilyn Manson about a possible collaboration, meanwhile Manson will release his version of DEPECHE MODE's 'Personal Jesus' as a single this week...

THE THOMPSON TWINS are to release some of their back catalogue albums in the UK in 2005. BMG Records have confirmed that they will be releasing material from The Thompson Twins' archive but are unable to reveal the exact details.

EURYTHMICS have postponed the release of their Ultimate Collection album and their series of remastered, expanded catalogue albums. It is currently unclear when the releases will see the light of day.

TEARS FOR FEARS have signed a new deal to release their 'Everybody Loves A Happy Ending' album in the UK. The duo have signed a European deal with independent label Gut Records and will release the album in early 2005. The UK/European version of the album will feature a number of additional tracks to the US version that has already been reelased, and the band will shoot a new UK video for the first single 'Closest Thing To Heaven'.

MORRISSEY has added two more shows to his UK schedule. THE SMITHS former frontman will now play shows in Glasgow and Birmingham in addition to his previously announced show at London's Earls Court in December.

KYLIE MINOGUE is planning a European tour in 2005 to support the release of her forthcoming hits album 'Ultimate Kylie' which will be released on November 22nd. Kylie is expected to announce dates later this month.

THE HUMAN LEAGUE and THE PET SHOP BOYS have both received honours at the 2004 Q Magazine awards. Human League received the 'Innovation In Sound' award and Pet Shop Boys the Q Inspiration award. Other awards wen to SHANE MacGOWAN (Q Merit Award, ROXY MUSIC (Lifetime Achievement award), RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS (Best Act In The World Today), U2 (Q Icon Award) and ELTON JOHN (Q Classic Songwriter Award).
