HEAVEN 17's classic single 'Let Me Go' has been covered by German act Nude and will be released as a single in the first week of September. You can listen to their version online, see NEWS for more details about that.

TONY HADLEY and MARTI PELLOW will be among the acts celebrating the life of Elvis Presley at BBC Radio 2's upcoming Elvis concert 'Elvis Forever' which will take place in London's Hyde Park on September 12th.

BLANK AND JONES will release the third in their 'So80s' series on September 3rd when 'So80s3' is released in their native Germany. As with the first two albums in the series 'So80s3' will come out as a 3-CD set featuring one disc of original mixes in a non-stop DJ mix as well as two discs of remastered versions of classic 12" singles from the 80s, including tracks from ERASURE, NEW ORDER, DURAN DURAN, OMD, VISAGE and THE CURE. OMD have announced that their new album 'History of Modern', which will be released on September 20th, will be available in five different formats; a standard CD edition; a deluxe edition featuring the CD alongside a documentary DVD (featuring new interviews and studio footage) in a special digipac; a double vinyl edition; a download (which comes bundled with an OMD vs Aretha Franklin mash-up entitled 'Save Me' and the b-side 'Idea 1' at iTunes) and a special collectors boxiest containing the album on CD and vinyl, the documentary DVD packaged in a hardback book, and two 12" prints.

WANG CHUNG will release 'Rent Free', a new four-track EP via download on September 20th. The release is the second part of the band's two-part EP set and features the tracks 'Rent Free', 'Stargazing', 'London Orbital' and the full length version of 'Abducted By The 80s'.

BLACK is inviting fans to a special performance to take place during his next recording session. The live show will take place in front of an audience of just 25 fans, each of whom who will receive a CD and a DVD of the performance. The show will take place at London's The Aquarium on October 30th.

MATT GOSS has announced a rare UK show at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 19th.

BILLY MACKENZIE is to have a rare and previously unreleased demo, entitled 'Return To Love' and recorded in 1995, issued on a limited edition 7" vinyl single this week from German label Destination Pop. See NEWS for more details.
