GRACE JONES, STATUS QUO, THE JAM and SQUEEZE will all have albums released as part of Universal's new 'CD Story' series. Each release will compile singles, key album tracks, fan favourites and b-sides across two CDs in hardback book style packaging featuring extensive sleevenotes and classic an rare pictures.

GEORGE MICHAEL will release a new single, 'An Easier Affair', on June 26th. The song will also be released as a download single a week earlier.

SIMPLE MINDS will play at Götaplatsen, the city festival for Göteborg in Sweden on August 10th.

INXS are auctioning all the tickets for a forthcoming intimate show at Santa Barbara's Lobero Theatre on June 14th. Tickets for the 650-seat show will have an opening price of $1.

Eighties pop star Sinitta's attempts to have a child have been dealt a blow after the surrogate mother carrying her twins suffered a miscarriage. Kerry West, 34, was 10 weeks' pregnant with Sinitta and husband Andy Willner's twins. "So Macho" and "Toy Boy" singer Sinitta, 39, spent three years trying to conceive naturally before being put in touch with Kerry in November.
