ERASURE ANNOUNCE THE FIRST SINGLE TO BE TAKEN FROM 'TOMORROW'S WORLD'
Last week I exclusively revealed that Erasure's new album, 'Tomorrow's World', will be released on October 3rd. I am now very happy to tell you that the first single from the album will be called 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)' and I will let you know all the details about release dates, formats and tracklistings as soon as I have them. The new Erasure plan is falling into place!

NEW ERASURE VIDEO INTERVIEW ONLINE NOW
While they were in Germany last week Vince and Andy sat down for a video interview with the German music website Bonedo. The interview covers Erasure's career so far, the new album, the current tour, technology, songwriting, the music industry and much more besides. It's a great interview which also includes live footage of the band onstage in Germany, and it's online now, in four parts, for your viewing pleasure... see the
news page on the Erasure website for more details.

AUTOGRAPHED SHORT CIRCUIT FESTIVAL POSTERS ONSALE NOW
A limited-edition of 100 screenprinted posters was produced for the recent Short Circuit Festival at the Roundhouse in London. The remaining posters - each featuring the Short Circuit t-shirt artwork, hand-printed onto heavy matt paper - have been autographed by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell and are now
exclusively available at the Official Erasure Shop at Lexer Music for just £20 (and shipping is free!). I've nabbed one for the wall of my office, but the rest are online now if you're quick. I don't think they'll be in stock for long!

ERASURE, YAZOO AND ANDY BELL ITEMS IN CHARITY AUCTION
Mute have provided some very special items for an
online auction to benefit Kensal Rise Library in London which is facing closure and is raising funds to cover its legal campaign. Current lots include an autographed copy of Andy Bell's 'Non-Stop' album, handwritten Nick Cave lyrics and autographed items from Yazoo, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Moby and Goldfrapp among others. I have it on good authority that some rather nice Erasure items will be added very soon.

'GIMME! GIMME! GIMME!' VIDEO PREVIEW FROM THE NEW REISSUE OF 'THE CIRCUS'
I have put a
live version of 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!' online from the DVD part of the 3-disc reissue of 'The Circus' which (along with 'Wonderland') was released last week. Recorded at the The Dome in Brighton in April 1987 this is one of fourteen songs from the 'Live at the Seaside' concert that is available on DVD for the first time as part of the expanded edition of 'The Circus'. The 3-disc edition features the concert plus promotional videos from the album on the DVD disc, plus the original album remastered alongside b-sides, remixes and radio sessions on the two CD discs. See the news section on the website for the full tracklisting for both releases and you can order both albums from Lexer Music and all good online and offline retailers, but please note that they are not being released domestically in the USA as they are coming out via EMI who don't have the US rights to the albums!
