BANANARAMA are to play a live show at London's The Garage on October 5th. The hour-long show will be the band's longest show since their last tour twenty years ago and will feature a mixture of new tracks and clasic material performed with a live band. Bananarama's new single 'Love Comes' is released this week with the new album, 'Viva', set to follow on September 14th.

DEAD OR ALIVE singer PETE BURNS' recent collaboration with The Dirty Disco on a track called 'The Art' is being previewed right now on The Dirty Disco's MySpace page... see NEWS for all the details.

SPANDAU BALLET will release a new edition of their compilation 'Gold - The Best Of Spandau Ballet' on October 12th in an expanded edition which will see a seventeen-track DVD accompany the original CD. See NEWS for the full CD and DVD tracklistings.

MADNESS have announced eleven UK shows in December, with more dates in the pipeline to be announced shortly. The band will also play a set at the free Regent Street Festival in London's Regent Street on September 27th, and will release a new CD/DVD hits collection 'Total Madness' on September 21st. M are to release a remix album - 'Pop Muzik, The Remix Album' - on November 16th. The release will compile all the original versions, demos, and remixes of the track, including a number of remixes commissioned by U2 for use on their Pop Mart tour, and a DEVO remix. MADONNA has confirmed the tracklisting for her forthcoming CD and DVD hits collections, both entitled 'Celebration'. The audio edition will be available in single and double CD editions and will feature remastered versions of some of Madonna's key tracks, while the DVD will feature 18 videos including unedited and previously unreleased footage of 'Justify My Love'. BAD LIEUTENANT, the new project featuring former NEW ORDER mainmen BERNARD SUMNER and STEPHEN MORRIS, have announced a short run of UK shows to take place in October to coincide with their forthcoming album 'Never Cry Another Tear', and single 'Sink Or Swim'. See GIGS for all the dates.

KYLIE MINOGUE has joined the bill of the upcoming ABBA tribute gig in London, the appearance being her only live show in the UK this year. The show, 'Thank You For The Music: A Celebration of the Music of ABBA', will take place in Hyde Park on September 13th and will also see performances of ABBA hits from a range of artists including CHAKA KHAN, JASON DONOVAN and MARTI PELLOW alongside original ABBA members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus.

MARC ALMOND will release a new album, 'Orpheus in Exile', on September 7th. The release is a tribute to Russian gypsy-folk and torch-song artist Vadim Kazin and consists of a collection of Marc Almond's own interpretations of key songs from Kazim's catalogue.

MICA PARIS is playing a UK tour to support her recently released new album 'The Hardest Thing' with dates around the country confirmed for September, October and November. See GIGS for all the dates.

THE BLOW MONKEYS frontman DR ROBERT's solo career is to be celebrated on a new compilation album entitled 'The Coming of Grace - An Introduction to Dr Robert' which is to be released on September 14th. The album covers Dr Robert's eight solo albums and comes with sleevenote contributions from some of the artists he has worked with in the past including PAUL WELLER, MICK TALBOT and RHODA DAKAR.

PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED are to reform for five UK shows in December to mark the 30th aniversary of the release of the band's classic 'Metal Box' album. The tour will feature frontman JOHN LYDON but neither of his original bandmates, JAH WOBBLE or KEITH LEVENE, are involved in the shows. See GIGS for all the dates.

PSYCHEDELIC FURS have announced a rare UK show at London's Kentish Town Forum on November 12th, with more European shows to be announced soon.
