The powerful lead single from Liquid Modern’s upcoming debut full-length is an energetic, upbeat 80s inspired synth-pop song.

Musically, it is reminiscent of 80s Cyndi Lauper-style synth-pop blended with modern pop elements. It begins with a catchy synth lead and simple upbeat guitar as it builds to twinkling arpeggiated synths, a big grooving synth bassline and a driving beat accentuated by a syncopated wood block.

Singer Kojette's lyrical content and melodic capabilities come across beautifully in a slightly distorted urgency through dynamic changes as the catchy-nature of the carefully-crafted hook. Blending pop sounds with indie/punk production elements fits the powerful message of the song.

Lyrically, the song asks its listener to actively stand up for themselves and affect change in their own lives rather than blindly accept the status quo.

Unreleased song 'Man Like Me' and 10th Anniversary Edition of 'Make Me Believe in Hope'

'Make Me Believe In Hope' turns 10 on June 3rd so to celebrate there is going to be a super deluxe Anniversary Edition - 4CDs, 4 volumes digitally and a special cassette:

As of TODAY you can pre-save this unreleased song 'Man Like Me' that I wrote in a cabin the Swedish countryside with my friends Sound Of Arrows back in 2010. This will be on the CD2 of the 4 CD set, and volume 2 of the deluxe digital release.

Infra Violet are a Synth-pop/Indie pop duo based in the UK. A collaboration between producer Toby Campen’s 80's inspired synth tracks, and singer-songwriter Beth’s intricate guitar and soulful vocals.

Forming in early 2020, the duo already has several successful releases including ‘Polaroid’, ‘Radio’ and ‘Grow’, mastered by Pete Maher (Depeche Mode, U2, The 1975). After widespread attention in the Synth scene following their popular hit ‘Polaroid’, they’ve gained regular international radio play including BBC Radio, Phoenix FM and Nightride FM, plus a feature on ‘This is Synthwave 3’ compilation album by Red Manor Records. 

‘Dream Tether’ was their debut album, released on 13th Aug 2021 to overwhelmingly positive acclaim. Pushing the boundaries of the genre by combining singer-songwriter, rock, fingerstyle and electronic influences, Infra Violet have poured everything into an emotional, passionate and bold debut. Using nostalgic melodies and intricately crafted harmonies to drive home the lyrical theme of the album; connection.

Infra Violet will be touring the UK this summer with Dream Tether and their newly announced single ‘Easy’ releasing on 1st April 2022. This new single shows a more alt pop orientated development by the duo with catchy hooks and huge anthemic choruses, plus a progression in their song writing and production skills. ‘Easy’ is a love letter to the past self, telling the inner child everything you wish you had heard, while searching the mirror for the adult you need to be now.
