04 Dec 2004 - Daniel Bedingfield News

  Nothing Hurts
  Like Love (CDs)

  Second First
  Impression (CD)

Daniel Bedingfield's highly anticipated follow-up to the massively successful 'Gotta Get Thru This', further showcases his talent to create some of the most enduring pop moments around. Produced by Jack Joseph Puig it consolidates his position as one of Britain's most diverse and talented young singer-songwriters.

Every song has a unique character of its own from the Bond Theme lite of 'Nothing Hurts Like Love', to the big beat dancehall of 'Complicated' through to the anthemic 'The Way'. What becomes clear on every listen is that Bedingfield is not afraid to experiment, constantly striving to push the boundaries of pop music in every conceivable direction.

'Second First Impression' marks another huge leap forward in Bedingfield's quest to create some of the finest music of the 21st Century. Innovative, exciting and powerful, it is the sound of a man truly in tune with his awesome talent.

'Nothing Hurts Like Love' is a sublime power ballad awash with stabbing strings and a vocal from Bedingfield that totally tugs at the heartstrings. A marvellous return from one of the UK's greatest young talents.
