ERASURE have announced UK dates for 2005 to support their forthcoming album 'Nightbird'. The band will also release a live DVD filmed on their 1992 'Phantasmagorical Entertainment' tour. The DVD, 'The Tank, The Swan & The Balloon Live' will be released on October 25th and in addition to the concert footage will include a bonus disc of interviews and backstage footage.
DEPECHE MODE will release their remix album 'Remixes 81-04' on October 25th as a double CD set featuring both old and newly comissioned mixes. A limited edition version of the album will include a bonus disc of additional mixes. 'Enjoy the Silence' will be released as a single on October 18th and will feature remixes by Goldfrapp, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda and Timo Maas.
DURAN DURAN have finally announced the title of their forthcoming studio album, their first release featuring the reunited original line-up. The album 'Astronaut' will get a UK release on October 4th and will be preceded by a single '(Reach Up For The) Sunrise' on September 21st.
HOWARD JONES is putting the final touches to a new album of electronic material that is likely to see the light of day in early 2005, preceded by a single in November.
STEPHEN DUFFY will see his 1993 album 'Music In Colors', a collaboration with classical violinist Nigel Kennedy, reissued on September 27th. Duffy, original DURAN DURAN vocalist, sucessful solo artist and member of THE LILAC TIME, recently released an album with NICK RHODES under the banner of THE DEVILS and is currently working with Robbie Williams.
LLOYD COLE & THE COMMOTIONS have finalised details of their 20th Anniversary reunion dates. The band will play just four UK shows in October to celebrate this anniversary and will visit Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and London.
