ANDY BELL SOLO SINGLE 'WILL YOU BE THERE?' RELEASED THIS WEEK!
Produced by pop maestro Pascal Gabriel (Dido, Kylie, Ladyhawke) and capturing the essence of the dance floor classics and unforgettable pop anthems that made his name, 'Will You Be There?' includes remixes by Seamus Haji, Sonic C and French Horn Rebellion, which push the boundaries of club classics. But don't take my word for it, you can have a listen for yourself at Andy's website. The single is available to download from all good online retailers including iTunes UK, Amazon UK and Play.com

Why all the secrecy up until now? Well, Andy was keen to release his new solo material under a pseudonym and chose the name Mimó as a tribute to his friend Tomeau Mimó. Sadly however there is already a musician working as Mimo who has legally challenged Andy's right to use a variation of that name for this project, so from this point forwards all further releases will be come out under Andy's own name. More news about Andy's album very soon!

VINCE CLARKE SUPPORTS DEPECHE MODE'S TEENAGE CANCER TRUST AUCTION
Depeche Mode are auctioning twelve unique Hublot watches to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Each watch is a limited edition of one and each features album artwork from one of Depeche Mode's twelve studio albums. The watches are packaged in special boxes that include a photograph signed by all the members of the group who contributed to that album, which - in the case of the 'Speak & Spell' package - includes Vince Clarke. See Vince's website for more details.

25 YEARS OF ERASURE GUESTBOOK
Sherry, who runs one of the unofficial Erasure forums, has set up a page to collect messages for Vince and Andy to congratulate them on 25 years since the release of their first single. If you fancy contributing then you need to head on over to Sherry's website.

ANDY BELL COMPETITION DRAW
With Andy's new solo project upon us this seemed like a good time to clear out the Electric Blue cupboard and run a quick draw that will see THREE winners each receive a bundle of bits and pieces from the Electric Blue project including some items autographed by Andy! The draw will take place on February 17th and the winners will be selected at random from the names signed up for the Andy Bell mailing list, so if you're not already subscribed for the Andy Bell newsletter then you need to get yourself signed up now. If you are already on the list then all you need to do it sit back and keep your fingers crossed!
