MORRISSEY has been nominated as Best British Male Singer at the 2005 Brit Awards, while KYLIE MINOGUE is up for International Female Artist and U2 for Best International Act and Best International Album. Meanwhile KATE BUSH's 'Wuthering Heights', JOY DIVISION's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' and QUEEN's 'We Are The Champions' are all competing for the special Brits 25 Best Song award to recognise the best song of the last 25 Years alongside Robbie Williams and Will Young. Meanwhile PRINCE will have one of his classic hits covered by Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield, dueting for the first time in public, at The Brit Award ceremony on February 9th.

MORRISSEY is to release a live album 'Live From Earl's Court' and a live DVD 'Who Put The M In Manchester?' later this year...

EURYTHMICS' singer DAVE STEWART and ROLLING STONES frontman MICK JAGGER have won the Golden Globe Award for 'Best Original Song' for 'Old Habits Die Hard' from the movie 'Alfie'.

ADAM & THE ANTS are the cover stars of a new magazine from the makers of NME - 'A-Z Of The New Romantics' is the latest edition of NME's 'Originals' series and features pictures, interviews, reviews and articles originally seen in the NME throughout the 80's... artists featured include CULTURE CLUB, DURAN DURAN, MADONNA, the HUMAN LEAGUE, SOFT CELL, WHAM!, PRINCE, SIGUE SIGUE SPUTNIK and SPANDAU BALLET.

WET WET WET took fourth place in Scottish magazine The List's poll to find the 50 Best Scottish bands of all time. MADONNA has been presented with a Blue Peter badge after being interviewed by the children's TV show about her fourth children's book 'The Adventures of Adbi'!

KIRSTY MacCOLL's CD boxset and dvd collections, both entitled 'From Croydon To Cuba', will be released on March 28th, following expended and remastered editions of her albums 'Kite' and 'Electric Landlady' on February 28th.

JASON DONOVAN, SONIA, and HAZELL DEAN are all on the bill of a PWL/Stock Aitken Waterman night at London club G-A-Y at the end of January.

SWING OUT SISTER have announced three shows at London's Jazz Cafe in April.
