Popcorn Kid’s production is far from forgettable… Full of ear candy and subtle details, the song starts with a muted arpeggiated bassline that sets the mood. The sudden rocky guitars, glitchy synths and filtered pads create a patchwork of textures way richer than your average synthwave/retrowave backing track.
LAU’s personal lyrics and vocal delivery are a convincing call for emancipation.
There’s only one way out. To go forward and move on.
