Andy Taylor rejoined the classic line-up of the seminal pop group five years ago, alongside Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John and Roger Taylor. The Dears guitarist, Patrick Krief, has revealed that Morrissey behaved like a diva when the band recently supported him on tour. Talking to music blog Obscure Sound, he said: "Opening for Morrissey was a sad sight. Seeing what success can do to people is pretty painful. Being asked to leave the building when he's crossing the corridor, or being told to not look directly at him made me sick. Sometimes it's better to not meet people you admire. The whole band was pretty upset by the whole encounter." The singer even admitted that he isn't a big fan of his music.

Gwen Stefani has confirmed the initial details of her second solo album, which will be called "The Sweet Escape".

The former No Doubt star describes the LP, which is due in December, as "surprisingly different" from her acclaimed, multi-million selling debut "Love.Angel.Music.Baby".

The Neptunes, Akon, Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley, Nellee Hooper, Swizz Beats and Dave Stewart are amongst the contributors on the record, as is Tony Kanal, who was in No Doubt.

"This album is surprisingly different than the last one. I started recording it last year before (her son) Kingston was born and it's definitely evolved over the last year.

"The dance sound is very 'now.' It's modern...not so retro," Stefani explained in a statement.

"The Sweet Escape" is due for release on December 5 and is scheduled to be preceded by a single, "Wind It Up".
