Franz Ferdinand have confirmed details of their live comeback.
??
The Scottish art-rockers will play a pair of shows in Glasgow next month, unveiling material from the follow-up to 2005's "You Could Have It So Much Better". The gigs take place at the Grand Ole Opry, which has a capacity of about 600, on June 4 with Bricolage and June 5 with The Royal We.
??
Franz's bass player Bob Hardy leaked news of the dates last week, revealing there are also plans for a show in New York City. He explained: "Hi, just a quick bulletin to tell you that we're planning a couple of small shows in Glasgow and one in New York in the next few weeks. "We'll be trying out some new songs and inviting some other bands that we like to play with us. We'll let you know the details in the next few days, hopefully see you there."
??
Tickets for the concerts, which go on-sale tomorrow morning, are restricted to two per person.

After a decade out of the limelight, the influential pairing of Geoff Barrow and Beth Gibbons have selected the line-up for the event. At last the beautiful new Erasure album "Light At The End Of The World" will be released next week.
??
"Just a few seconds into opening track 'Sunday Girl', you are expectant. Opening like the old Smash advert, Vince's eastern-sounding keyboards kick in and we're away on an epic three minute pop journey. And what pop it is. This is wet-your-pants Cristiano Ronaldo in glitterpants dazzling all-comers premiership champions pop.??It's the sort of song pop stars used to write - Abba would've had a number one for 12 weeks with this and it would have packed every dancefloor from North to South. It might just be the greatest song they've ever recorded."
