Scotlands newest indie darlings Franz Ferdinand release their second single of nu-wave brilliance, the Blondie-meets-Rapture disco stomper, "Take Me Out". Another sure-fire hit on Domino, Franz Ferdinand should secure a reputation every bit as infamous as their namesake (hopefully without the war-instigating assassination, although stranger things have happened).
An excellent taster for the new album that arrives in February.
Take Me Out will also be released as a limited edition 7".

MORRISSEY's new album is thought to be titled 'You Are The Quarry' and is expected to be completed in time for an April release. Reports are that over twenty tracks have already been completed for the album, including the five new tracks that the former SMITHS frontman debuted on last year's tour. Morrissey is also planning an extensive period of touring around the album's release.
