British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor rose to fame singing Spiller's hit single "Groovejet" and her own global hits "Murder on the Dancefloor" (the most played song in Europe in 2002) and "Get Over You". During lockdown, Sophie Ellis-Bextor streamed "Kitchen Discos" on Instagram, which were viewed by over 40 million people worldwide. During Kitchen Discos, she proved herself a true disco queen with her disco-inspired renditions of major hits.

Her debut album, "Read My Lips" (2001), sold over 2 million copies. In 2014, she decided to release her fifth studio album, "Wanderlust", through her own EBGB's label, produced by British singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt. The album spent three weeks in the UK Top 10 and sold over 100,000 copies.

After the Kitchen Disco livestreams, she released the album, "Songs From The Kitchen Disco", on Cooking Vinyl at the end of 2020. It combines Sophie's biggest hits with her successful lockdown Kitchen Disco tracks. The album reached the UK Top 10. Today, Sophie Ellis-Bextor is committed to many charities. For example, on November 16, 2021, she held a 24-hour disco dance marathon to raise money for children in need. She also has her own podcast, Spinning Plates, where she talks to hardworking mothers about how they manage it all.

Her latest album ''Perimenopop'' is out now!

Tickets for her live show in The Hague (NL) on June 24, 2026, can be found here:

BANANARAMA - VIVA - EXPANDED DIGITAL EDITION

Hi Everyone!

Our 10th studio album ‘VIVA' has been restored and is out now on all major digital platforms!

It’s available as a special 16 track expanded edition with digital singles ‘Love Comes’ and ‘Love Don’t Live Here’ that include original remixes and original bonus tracks.

Sara & Keren reflect on the inspiration behind ‘VIVA'
“The original idea was to make a disco album of our favourite covers. We started listening to old ’70s tracks and electro stuff and it inspired us to write our own tracks instead with a few favourites mixed in…”

“Listening back to Viva now,
it reminds us of a really fun era of Bananarama.”

We hope you enjoy & thank you for your continued support!

Love,
S&K x

Why Back This Project?

Alan Dreezer says about this Kickstarter campaign for his new album:

"This album exists because of independence, belief, and community.

Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes is my third album and the most honest work I’ve created to date. It’s been written, recorded, and produced without a label — guided purely by my creative freedom and the desire to make something meaningful.

This Kickstarter is here to help manufacture the physical editions of the album: vinyl, CDs, artwork, and exclusive merchandise. Physical releases still matter — they allow independent artists to sustain their work and offer something tangible and lasting to the people who support it.

One of the most exciting elements of this campaign is an exclusive remix of an album track by Grammy-nominated producer Royce Wood Jr. Collaborating with Royce Wood Jr is a genuine dream-come-true moment in my journey — something I never imagined when I first started making music. This remix will not be available on streaming platforms and is exclusive to Kickstarter backers.

There are a range of reward options available, from a £6 digital download (including the exclusive remix), through to CDs with a 12-page booklet, vinyl edition also with a 12 page booklet including lyrics, exclusive album logo T-shirts and hoodies, and bundle options for those who want more.

The highest tier includes a FREE signed artwork print, created especially for this release. A very limited number of prints will also be available separately for £20.

Backing this project means more than pre-ordering an album. It means supporting independent music, helping bring this record into the world properly, and becoming part of its story.

Thank you for being here — your support truly makes all the difference".
