Kylie Minogue is happy to be back in show business and will wear her trademark glittery outfits on her forthcoming tour, she told Reuters in one of her first public appearances since she recovered from breast cancer.

In an interview after a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show, the Australian was reserved about the state of her health but joked about her love for extravagant clothes and preparations for her Showgirl Homecoming concerts. Wearing a tight leopard-print dress, her hair still short after chemotherapy, Minogue looked radiant if a little pale.

"All I want to say is that to be here three, four years after last time -- personally, I'm just thrilled to be here and to be with guys I know and love, and to be creative again, to be inspired, and dazzled by everything on that runway," she said, sitting on a sofa between designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce. The 38-year-old said she was working with the designers on three outfits for her tour and felt particularly inspired by the multi-colored, sequined floating dresses and trouser suits seen on the catwalk.

Dolce & Gabbana threw a disco extravaganza with crystal-encrusted, embroidered, swirly gowns with billowing sleeves and combinations of dresses and trouser suits. "If there ever was an opportunity to wear these clothes it's on stage," Minogue said. "Well, I need to control myself not to wear those kinds of things at a dinner party. But perhaps I shouldn't show restraint and just wear it anyway, floating around in a pantsuit...the one from the show."

Gabbana said they were discussing tight, sexy outfits for the tour later this year. The three already worked together on outfits for previous concerts. "It's nice to work with people you've got a history with," Minogue said. Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and underwent surgery and chemotherapy. Her tour was put on hold as a result of her illness and she will restart it with concerts in November in her home country.

"So be careful -- she's back," Gabbana said.
