That's a quote by a Belgian journalist on this particular trio; and he's right: it is difficult to describe the Sweet Coffee sound. A mixture of lounge, soul and popmusic with a high "feelgood" factor. This new single comes with a superb Buscemi remix (Belgium's "nu bossa" master) giving the perfect latin feel to the vocals of Sweet Coffee's Bibi and 2 Sterac Electronics Remixes (of course by Steve Rachmad, father of Detroit Techno in the Netherlands). The Sterac remix on the B side is sure to trip out some of us on the floor...

KYLIE MINOGUE made a surprise appearance at London club G-A-Y on Saturday as part of the encore of a set by her sister Dannii. Kylie joined her sister in an acapella version of Dannii's 'Jump To The Beat'.

DEACON BLUE
have announced a fourteen-date UK tour in November, starting in Cambridge on November 5th and finishing in Glasgow on November 24th.

THE STRANGLERS have parted company with their vocalist of fifteen years, PAUL ROBERTS. The split is said to be amicable, Roberts will concentrate on his Soulsec project and The Stranglers will continue as a 4-piece.

BANANARAMA and THE BANGLES will both feature in a forthcoming BBC TV programme charting the greatest girl groups of all time, both acts will be interviewed for the show.

ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN
have been added to the bill of the forthcoming V Festival. The band join a bill which includes MORRISSEY and PAUL WELLER.

SUZANNE VEGA
has signed a new record deal with the Blue Note label and will release her first album for the label in early 2007 after spending this summer touring - including a performance at the Isle Of Wight Festival.

DAVID BOWIE
will play himself in a forthcoming episode of Ricky Gervais' show 'Extras'.

LEVEL 42
's classic 'Lessons In Love' has been remixed as a dance release by Buick Project.

MAI TAI
have released a new single, a version of THE POINTER SISTERS' classic 'Automatic', in the Netherlands with international releases planned to follow.

THOMPSON TWINS
fans are campaigning for the band's catalogue to be reissued via the launch of a new website dedicated to getting their label to commit to the releases which have been rumoured to have been on their provisional schedule for some time.

THE CURE
continue their reissue series with the release of massively expanded versions of their 'The Top', 'The Head On The Door' and 'Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me' albums as well as ROBERT SMITH's side project THE GLOVE's album 'Blue Sunshine' (a collaboration with SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES' bassist STEVE SEVERIN).
