MARC ALMOND has announced UK dates in Manchester, Bristol and London in June and July. See GIGS for details.

SCRITTI POLITTI will play a short set at Bristol's Venn Festival on June 2nd at the city's Arnolfini Audutorium.

KAJAGOOGOO will release a new single 'Rocket Boy' on June 25th.

NEW ORDER have issued a statement to the effect that the band is still together following bassist PETER HOOK's comments that they have split up. Accoring to the statement 'Peter Hook can leave the band, but this doesn't mean the end of New Order'.

CROWDED HOUSE will headline the first ever show at London's new O2 Indigo venue on June 28th, the same week in which they release a brand new single 'Don't Stop Now'.

THE STRAY CATS will play their first US tour for fifteen years this summer which includes shows with ZZ TOP and THE PRETENDERS. See GIGS for all the dates.

ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN will headline this year's Falmouth Festival on August 24th with support from Badly Drawn Boy.

ADAM ANT will publish his autobiography 'Stand & Deliver' as a paperback on September 7th with a new chapter written to bring the story right up to date.

GEORGE MICHAEL's concert in Bratislava at the weekend has been reviewed in the REVIEWS section.

DEBBIE HARRY dueted with Lily Allen on The US's TV show 'The Today Show' last week. The singers performed BLONDIE's 'Heart Of Glass' as part of a four-song Blondie set.

'Me And My Imagination’ is set to be the first big dance track of the summer, and is taken from Sophie's third album 'Trip The Light Fantastic'. Referencing her Ibiza days in the sun, 'Me And My Imagination' is a winking disco trot powered by twirling violins and a dizzyingly house groove, which Sophie says is the track most easily reconciled with anything on her million selling??'Read My Lips'.

With the imminent release of Marc's new single and the album 'Stardom Road', there will be a lot of media interest and promotion coming up. We'll try to keep you up to date with what's happening, interviews, etc, but press deadlines often change at the last minute so keep your eyes peeled as more may be added and even confirmed items can be changed. Downloads are available on iTunes and Beatport. Rebirth have released, for downloading,??18 mixes. We strongly advise to stick??to the approved mixes by Acid Jacks, Peter Juergens and Edison, as well as the original versions. Plans for a??CD release are pending as the track is still gathering momentum in clubs and with radio DJ's.

Billie had recorded a song with electronic act Risque, titled 'Push The Button'. Risque are currently finallising release plans and the song should see the light of day in a couple of months. Billie shares the lead vocal with the lead singer of Risque.
