Justin Hawkins is competing to appear at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, it has emerged.??The former Darkness star is understood to be one of six acts in the running to represent the UK at the event in Finland.??Hawkins, who quit The Darkness last year after entering rehab for drug addiction, is understood to be planning a solo career.
??
However, his first project will see him go up against former East 17 star Brian Harvey, ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon and hip-hop group Big Brovaz. Pop unknown Cyndi and reformed band Scooch will also be put to the public vote on "Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up", which will be broadcast on the BBC next month.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that former Smiths idol Morrissey had been involved in unsuccessful discussions about representing the UK.

The 52nd annual Eurovision Song Contest takes place in May in Helsinki.

European 3-part single features Never Touch That Switch (Switch Remix), several remixes of the single and a DVD-single including the music video and the "Robbie Williams Drag Interview".

??????Steve McQueen was the second full length album from Prefab Sprout, originally released in 1985. It reached No: 21 and remained in the UK charts for 35 weeks.

Original producer Thomas Dolby accomplished the remastering job, insuring that the entire band's original artistic sound remains intact in the digital age. The set includes a Bonus Disc with 8 tracks of arranged acoustic versions by band leader Paddy McAloon.
