Original song was recorded by KooLTURE exclusively for "Philanthropy": The first charity dance album by Pet Shop Boys Fans. and will be avaliable for pre sale at www.beatport.com.

This song, written in 2007, was inspired by the sudden death of a Pet Shop Boys fan named NKP, very popular in the chat room where he used to talk with his friends (his only family).
??
He suffered from cancer and his doctor had said to him that he would last only 3 months more. That month, Pet Shop Boys were scheduled to perform live in a city nearby his town and NKP decided to attend the show, full of joy. He had his ticket already. But something really sad happened out of the blue: Cancer stole his young and beautiful life fifteen days after having visited the doctor. All of his friends were shocked by the news, even more knowing that one of his biggest dream never came true???

A large percentage of the profits obtained from digital downloads/sales will go to “Hereford Kids First”, a British charity association run by Mark Price, another PSB’s fan.

The Profits from the remixes sales will go to both charity association and remixers/artists.

Kylie Minogue has written a song for Hot Chip which could feature on a future release, it has emerged. She submitted the "crazy" track after the electro act became involved in writing for her recent comeback "X".

Chip member Joe Goddard revealed news of the possible collaboration, which did not make the cut for their forthcoming "Made In The Dark" LP. "Kylie wrote a song for us. She sent it through our management to us - it was totally bizarre", he explained. "It was the beginnings of a track - I think she wrote it and just thought, 'This would be perfect for Hot Chip', or possibly for a collaboration. It's a crazy song. It's industrial and clanging and even has farmyard animal noises on it. It's the kind of music you'd never normally associate with Kylie."

Goddard told the NME he anticipated the track would "change a few people's ideas about Kylie" when it eventually gets a release.

YAZOO are rumoured to be planning a burst of activity to mark next year's 25th anniversary of their debut single 'Only You'. JANET JACKSON will release 'Feedback' as the first single from her forthcoming new album. The single will be released in January with the album scheduled for early February.

TINA TURNER will be the latest artist to have her life and catalogue celebrated in a West End musical according to reports. The show will be called 'Simply The Best' and will follow the singer's life from childhood, through to her marriage with Ike Turner and onto solo superstardom in the eighties.
