Marc Almond??will perform an exclusive concert for BBC Radio 2 to be broadcast on Friday June 1st at 7.30pm.

In a special Friday Night Is Music Night, the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Martin Yates, is joined by special guest Marc Almond, who performs songs from his new album Stardom Road. The concert, presented by Paul Gambaccini, will be recorded at The Mermaid in London.

Kylie Wants Hot Chip For New Album

Hot Chip are expected to feature on the new Kylie Minogue album, it has emerged.

The UK electro-pop icons are understood to have been invited to write a track for the Aussie pop rocket's comeback. Apparently the group are considering "palming off" one of their own songs to Minogue, who is also thought to be working with Calvin Harris on the record.

In a new interview, Chip star Alexis Taylor explained: "We've actually been asked to submit a song and we've not done it yet. "We were thinking of palming off (new song) 'Ready For The Floor' on Kylie actually", he told the NME. "It's probably our best shot at a catchy single, so we've been thinking of giving it to her and earning loads of money. Until she hears the song it's all talk really."

Hot Chip release their own mix CD later this month, entitled "Hot Chip: DJ Kicks".

Pet Shop Boys - Cubism In Concert (DVD)

????Cubism is a film depicting the Pet Shop Boys concert at the Auditorio Nacional, Mexico City, on November 14th, 2006.

The title was inspired by the Es Devlin-designed cube that was at the center of the staging of the tour production.

Directed by David Barnard who has also directed concert films for Bjork and Gorillaz.

Includes a short bonus film, Pet Shop Boys in Mexico, and an audio commentary by Neil, Chris and David Barnard.
