Pop princess Kylie Minogue has told how her "whole world changed" after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The diminutive singer told Australia's Vogue magazine her battle with the illness, which she was diagnosed with in May 2005, had been an educational experience.
"My whole world changed. I have learned and experienced so much about myself and others," she says in the December issue of the mag, which she guest-edited. It is great to be able to make those first steps back into the life I knew before - the one I now know better."

Kylie looked back to her stunning self in the photo shoot to accompany the article.
The singer is seen sitting astride a chair, mimicking Christine Keeler's famous 60s photograph. But unlike Christine, Kylie is fully clothed, looking poised and elegant in a trendy white top, fitted thigh-length trousers and sexy black heels.

Kylie Minogue has also told how her "incredible" boyfriend helped her through the darkest days of her cancer battle.??She said going through treatment felt "like being in an atomic explosion". But the support of her French actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez was invaluable.

"On particular dark days, I'd be lying on the bathroom floor wailing and he'd say, 'Ok, honey, you can cry for just five minutes, then I'm taking you on the bike for a ride around Paris.' So I'd howl a bit more and then I'd find myself thinking, 'Hmm. Actually, a ride on the bike sounds pretty good,'" she told Elle magazine. "Olli was there all the time, helping with the practical stuff and being protective. I don't like to say too much in public about Olivier as he's a very private person, but I will say that he was incredible. He didn't hesitate in cancelling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me. He's the most honourable man I have ever met."
