This year's Comic Relief song has been recorded by Girls Aloud and Sugababes, it has been announced.

The pair of girl groups have reworked Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" for the charity event, which is expected to take place in March.

Although there has been no official confirmation from either band about the duet, TLC producer Dallas Austin is understood to have produced it.

Last year's Comic Relief song, "Is This The Way To Amarillo", by Tony Christie and Peter Kay, charted at Number One.

The 2007 Red Nose Day is scheduled to take place on March 16.

Channel 4 will be broadcasting a very special
show from
Kylie's Showgirl Homecoming Tour
this Saturday night at 10.10pm. The concert
was filmed live in the Showgirl's hometown of
Melbourne in December 2006 and celebrates
Kylie's triumphant return to the stage.

MORRISSEY has announced a trio of US shows to take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in February and the former SMITHS singer is also in talks with the BBC about writing the UK entry for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest following Morrissey's comment after the 2006 show that they should have asked him... see NEWS on the website for the Pasadena dates.

MADONNA will release a new album this year and, according to her producer Stuart Price, it will take Madonna in a new direction and showcase a 'new sound' for her.

BONNIE TYLER has provided vocals for a new version of her epic hit 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart'. The version, performed with up and coming disco rockers BabyPinkStar and billed 'BabyPinkStar vs. Bonnie Tyler' will be released at the end of January.

BRYAN FERRY
will release an album of Bob Dylan covers in March. The album, 'Dylanesque', will feature eleven Dylan songs covered by the ROXY MUSIC frontman including 'Simple Twist Of Fate', 'Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues', 'Positively 4th Street', 'If Not For You' and 'All Along The Watchtower'.

EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL singer TRACEY THORN has covered PET SHOP BOYS' 'Kings Cross' for her forthcoming solo album which is due for release in the spring.

MADONNA will release a live CD and DVD on January 22nd featuring material filmed at London's Wembley Arena during her 'True Confessions' tour last year. The CD will feature 13 tracks and the DVD twenty-one tracks, largely taken from her recent studio album.

THE CULT's classic 'She Sells Sanctuary' has been covered by Keane as a b-side for their next single 'A Bad Dream' which is due out later this month.

BLONDIE singer DEBBIE HARRY is currently working on material for a solo album although there is no release date in place at this stage.

ALL ABOUT EVE's JULIANNE REGAN and TIM BRICHENO will appear on the new studio album from THE MISSION which will be released in April.
