??????Former band members of The Smiths may hand over rare tracks for new compilation album. Morrissey, Marr and Co have previously refused to hand over the tracks to Warner Bros because of them releasing compilations albums without their approval. However, Planet Sound reports that Rhino Records, who own the US publishing rights, are in talks with the band over releasing an album later this year.

One of the tracks earmarked for the album is a 12 minute version of The Queen is Dead.

????EMI have decided to delay the release of Pet Shop Boys' new album, "Fundamental", until May 22. The reason has nothing to do with music, artwork or videos, just that they want more "set-up time".

Neil and Chris are in the studio this week completing two tracks to be released as bonus tracks on future singles: "The Resurrectionist" and "Girls Don't Cry".

The Cure will be playing their only show of the Summer at the Royal Albert Hall, London on Saturday, 1st April 2006.

The show is taking place as part of the 2006 Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts running from March 27th - April 1st.
The full line-up (with surprises still to be announced) is:
