A-HA have changed the UK release dates for their upcoming single and album. The single 'Foot of the Mountain' will now be released on July 13th with the album of the same name following on July 20th. Meanwhile the single has just been released in Germany where it entered to charts at number three, the band's highest single entry there since 'Take On Me'. The band will also appear at tonight's Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards in London.

SADE is working on a new album - her first since 2000's 'Lovers Rock' - which may be ready for release by the end of the year according to reports.

BUCKS FIZZ have announced a set of reunion dates in addition to their appearances on the HERE AND NOW summer shows. Billed as The Original Bucks Fizz the line-up will feature Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston the shows take place around the country throughout October, see GIGS for details.

THE HUMAN LEAGUE are to play Ben and Jerry's Sundae on the Common in London on July 26th, headlining a bill that will also include sets from Futureheads and Camera Obscura.

FLEETWOOD MAC have added a run of UK shows to their current reunion tour. The series of five arena shows will take place in October and November, see GIGS for all the dates.

MADONNA will bring down the curtain on her Sticky & Sweet Tour with a final show in Tel Aviv's HaYarkon Park on September 1st.

THE ALARM's MIKE PETERS will play three acoustic shows in and around New York City in July as part of his fiftieth birthday celebrations. See NEWS on the website for details.

THE BLOW MONKEYS have released a live DVD filmed on their recent reunion tour. The release, 'Travelin' Souls', was filmed at London's 100 Club and features tracks from all stages of the band's career and comes with exclusive extras and rarities plus the chance to download an exclusive track.

DREAM ACADEMY frontman NICK LAIRD CLOWES has released a new track 'Mayday' as a free download. The track was written with PINK FLOYD's DAVID GILMOUR for a new documentary about Greenpeace from film-maker Nick Broomfield. See NEWS for more details and the download link.

THE SPECIALS will play an intimate show at London's 100 Club on June 25th as a warm-up for their forthcoming appearance at the Glastonbury Festival the following night.

GARY NUMAN's classic 'Are 'Friends' Electric?' has been covered by Jack White's new band The Dead Weather on their new single. Gary Numan will play a handful of UK dates in the summer, see GIGS for all the dates.

TEARS FOR FEARS have added another date to their forthcoming US dates and will play Phoenix's Celebrity Theatre on July 21st. See GIGS for the full list of dates.

DEACON BLUE's RICKY ROSS and LORRAINE MCINTOSH will release an album in September. The currently untitled album will come out via the Cooking Vinyl label.

PETER MURPHY has announced a US tour which will see him play 31 shows around the country in June and July. The former BAUHAUS frontman will play material from his forthcoming, and currently untitled, new album alongside material from all stages of his career. See GIGS for all the dates.

ALL ABOUT EVE's JULIANNE REGAN and THE MISSION's WAYNE HUSSEY are working on an album together. The release will feature a mix of new material and cover versions - possibly to include covers of All About Eve and Mission tracks - and is currently being recorded.

GRACE JONES will play a one-off show at Ibiza club Space on August 9th as part of the 15th anniversary celebrations for her label, Wall Of Sound.
