Australian pop star Kylie Minogue will be the inspiration and model for Swedish low-cost retailer H&M's 2007 swimwear collection, with part of sales donated to charity, the company said on Friday.

The collection, entitled "H&M loves Kylie", will form part of the group's main swimwear range containing 15 "bohemian-chic" styles, H&M said.
The line will be available in all stores carrying women's wear from the middle of May.

"When we think Australia and glamour we think Kylie, who is such a stylish person," H&M's design head Margareta van den Bosch said in a statement.
"To me it is all about summer indulgence, effortless chic and lots of fun!" Kylie Minogue was quoted as saying in the statement.

H&M will donate 10 percent of sales revenue from the collection to British charity WaterAid which works to provide safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poor.

Kylie Minogue is the latest in a long line of celebrities to model for the Swedish retailer that includes British actors Tim Roth and Gary Oldman, Italian football star Paolo Maldini, French actress Emmanuelle Beart and most recently US pop legend Madonna.
