Erasure release their Storm Chaser EP, available on CD, limited edition 7" and download on 24th September 2007.

The nine track EP features new, extended and remix versions of tracks taken from their recent album 'Light At The End Of The World'. The package also includes an exclusive duet featuring Cyndi Lauper and Andy Bell on vocals plus the winning entry to the remix competition of When A Lover Leaves You (made using Apple's GarageBand software).

"We originally recorded Early Bird during the 'Light???' album sessions in Maine last Fall," said Andy Bell. "We were considering some special way to use it apart from the CD and when we agreed to co-headline the True Colors tour, we just thought it might make an interesting duet between Cyndi and us. She put down the vocals in New York and sent the track back to us. We were quite happy with the result and quite happy to have gotten to know her and perform with her on the road this summer."

25 Aug 2007 - R.E.M. Live DVD

On October 16th, R.E.M. will release its first ever live CD/DVD in a career that has spanned 27 remarkable years. The dual package, titled R.E.M. Live, features 22 songs from the group's memorable performance at the Point Theatre in Dublin on February 27th, 2005. R.E.M. Live was filmed by acclaimed director Blue Leach (Depeche Mode, Snow Patrol) who accompanied R.E.M. on their 116-date tour into 33 countries in support of Around The Sun. Just two years earlier, Leach's deft camera work and artistic video mix during R.E.M.'s Manchester Move Festival performance made a strong impression on the band. Here, Leach skillfully brings together his signature techniques to capture R.E.M. doing what they do best at one of the most celebrated venues on their 2005 worldwide tour.

Morrissey has rejected an offer of $75 million to tour under The Smiths' name, it has been claimed. The indie legends have been the subject of a series of phenomenal financial incentives to reform in recent years, culminating in the latest approach.
??
According to reports, the only clause for the deal was that Morrissey appeared with Johnny Marr but not estranged members Andy Rourke or Mike Joyce. If a deal had been struck, 'The Smiths' would apparently have played around 50 concerts during 2008 and 2009.
??
The news comes in the week that Morrissey confirmed plans to play a series of residencies in America.
??
There are also unconfirmed reports that he and Marr will collaborate on a long-awaited Smiths box-set in the coming months.
