06 Sep 2006 - New Bands On Myspace.com

Electra
??
??

Electra is the brainchild of record producer B.I.D and vocalist/frontman Tom Giles and are based in London, England. Their hotly anticipated debut album 'Get The Queen Dancing' takes you on a journey through the highs and lows of love and life in the 21st century. If euphoric powerpop and honest poetic lyrics rock your world then you will??love Electra.

Influences: Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Lemon
??
??

Combining the soulful ache of Simply Reds Mick Hucknall with the sultry falsetto of Smokey Robinson, Lemon resurrects the plaintive longing and raw sexuality of vintage R&B with the synthesized rhythms of 80s modern rock.
??
A duo consisting of vocalist Roger Smith and multi-instrumentalist Thor Madsen, the New York-based Lemon generates body heat from their funky, sweltering grooves. The propulsive Aint Coming Back recalls Peter Gabriel in his mid-80s prime as Smiths deeply emotional and urgent vocals fuel Madsens grinding keyboards while One Night Stand is reminiscent of Princes midnight eroticism.

??
Eschewing the discordant noise and basement production of 90s alternative rock, Lemon champion melody and clear, straightforward songwriting, utilizing modern technology to create evocative atmospherics with old-school pop hooks. If Motown had begun releasing albums in the 21st century, then Lemon would have been among their prime artists.

Influences: Marvin Gaye, Al Green, George Michael, Bee Gees, Abba, A-Ha, Seal, Simply Red, The Smiths, The Housemartins, Beautiful South, ELO

02 Sep 2006 - Extra UK INXS Date Added

Due to public demand, INXS have announced the addition of a third London Shepherd's Bush concert (Tuesday November 7th). Tickets for this third London concert will go on sale Friday 8th September at 9am. The announcement follows INXS's sold out UK gigs at Shepherd's Bush (Oct 12), Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom (Nov 4) and Shepherd's Bush (Nov 6).
Click here for the official European tour announcement:
http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/inxs/tour.htm.

Following sold out tours of America, Canada and Asia, and currently reaping rave reviews on their sold out 20-date Australian tour, the band, featuring new frontman J.D. Fortune, have performed to half a million people since the beginning of 2006, with sales of their new album at 800,000. INXS roll into the UK and Europe for a series of intimate shows and an exclusive UK edition release of their new studio album "SWITCH", almost 9 months after the world tour's inception.

??

On August 27th Brisbane's Sunday Mail newspaper had this to say about the band's first gig on their current Australian tour:
"If the jury was still out on the band's new album SWITCH and reality-TV spawned front man JD Fortune at the helm, then the first Australian taste of INXS's Switched On world out emphatically delivers a guilty verdict. Guilty, that is, of recapturing that exhilarating live form it became famous for with Michael Hutchence leading the charge before his untimely death almost 10 year ago. Canadian JD Fortune, 32, not only proves he has the pipes to belt out the big ones with precision, but he has the raw sex appeal, slick moves and showmanship that has re-energised this band."

"SWITCH" the new Guy Chambers-produced studio album will be released in the UK and Ireland through MX3/Universal on Monday October 16th. The 'UK Edition' of "SWITCH" will be repackaged with new artwork, will feature exclusive live tracks from the current world tour, exclusive remixes, videos and hidden new media content.

INXS??will be coming to London for advance publicity and promotion from Monday October 9th.
